BODYBUDDY EMS Suit
Train your whole body with the BODYBUDDY EMS system in a single 20-minute session a week — when, where and how you want. The wireless dry suit is controlled from the free app on Android or iOS. Set your programme, adjust the intensity from your phone, and train.
Why BODYBUDDY?
- Completely wireless — no cables, no tangling, no restricted movement. Everything runs from your smartphone.
- No spray needed — dry-electrode technology means no wetting or spraying the suit before use.
- 6 training programmes — Shape, Cardio, Fitness, Relax, Intensive, plus a custom programme you configure yourself.
- 9 intensity levels — start gently and build up at your own pace.
- Train anywhere — at home, in the park or away. No gym membership, no travel, no waiting for equipment.
How EMS works
Whole-body electrical muscle stimulation (WB-EMS) sends low-frequency impulses through electrodes built into the suit, contracting your muscles directly. Because the impulse reaches deep stabilising muscles that are hard to isolate with weights, a short session covers a lot of ground.
What the research shows
WB-EMS is one of the better-studied training methods, largely thanks to a decade of randomised trials from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In plain terms:
- Comparable results, less time. A randomised controlled study found WB-EMS produced changes in body composition and strength similar to high-intensity resistance training, at a much lower time commitment.
- Raised energy expenditure. A single intense session increased resting metabolic rate by around 25% and total energy expenditure by roughly 460 kcal net over the following day.
- Back pain. In trials on chronic non-specific low back pain, WB-EMS reduced pain intensity by around 22–30% over 12 weeks — a similar result to conventional back-strengthening training, but with 20 minutes a week instead of 45.
The consistent finding is not that EMS is dramatically more powerful than conventional training. It is that it achieves comparable results in significantly less time. Individual results vary with your starting point, diet and how regularly you train.

Sizing
Available in XXS to XXL. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — the suit should sit close to the skin so the electrodes make proper contact.
Important safety information
EMS training is suitable for healthy adults. It is not recommended if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, are pregnant, have an acute febrile illness, epilepsy, a serious heart condition, or any condition for which strenuous exercise has been advised against. If you are unsure, consult your doctor before use.
This is fitness equipment, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Smartphone not included.
